The Encyclopedia of Benesh Movement Notation
Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Benesh Movement
Notation.
Like any language, Benesh Movement Notation (BMN) is continually
evolving but it is essential that it remains universally understood
by all who use it. The Encyclopedia of Benesh Movement Notation is
a comprehensive reference resource of the signs and usage of the
notation system in the dance and clinical contexts.
Those with a Professional Benesh subscription are eligible to
access the Encyclopedia as a benefit of their subscription.
Benesh subscribers and RAD Members with appropriate Benesh
qualifications are able to apply for access to the Encyclopedia for
an annual fee of £50.00. Eligible qualifications (or equivalent or
higher) include:
- Elementary Solo (Reading) in Benesh Movement Notation
- PABMN Part 1
- Score Reading for Dancers Part 2
- Diplôme du 1er cycle supérieur en Notation du
